Travis spent eight years at one of the leading managed services providers for the mortgage industry. He started in sales and worked his way through product management — writing deployment procedures, creating new services, and becoming the company's go-to expert on Microsoft 365 and Azure.
From there he built technology stacks for mortgage fintech companies including Aduvo and inGenius. Over the last decade in mortgage fintech he has attended more than 40 multi-day mortgage conferences and worked hands-on with the platforms brokers rely on every day — configuring services and building integrations for tools like PointCentral, ARIVE, Jungo, BNTouch, LendingPad and Floify.
Having worked for three different SaaS providers to the mortgage industry, Travis knows how vendors decide what their services are worth — and how a small broker can get more value from them.
He has firsthand experience helping New York mortgage brokers pass their cybersecurity audits, including sitting down with state examiners to explain how modern Microsoft cloud security actually works. When agentic AI arrived, he saw immediately what it meant for cybersecurity, compliance, infosec policy and risk assessments — and built Firewall Valley around it.
His technology career began in Mountain View, California — the heart of Silicon Valley — at E-Stamp, before the dot-com bust. He studied computer science in Los Altos Hills.
